Editorial Policy

How PR97 selects, structures, checks, and updates software procurement content.

Reader task first

Each page should help a buyer define requirements, compare options, normalize a quote, prepare implementation, control renewal, or plan exit. PR97 does not create a page merely to repeat a search phrase.

Source hierarchy

Product scope, packaging, and pricing statements should be checked against vendor pages, documentation, legal terms, trust centers, or transaction documents. Independent standards and government sources are preferred for legal, security, privacy, and regulatory concepts.

Comparisons and alternatives

Options are grouped by the job a buyer is trying to complete. Direct substitutes are distinguished from adjacent tools. PR97 does not publish review scores without a real review dataset.

Pricing coverage

Pricing pages explain cost structure and evidence to request. The final order form, usage definition, service scope, incorporated terms, renewal conditions, and internal labor belong in the buyer's cost model.

AI-assisted production

Automation may assist with structure, link checks, consistency, and drafting. It is not treated as a source. Public pages are checked for template leakage, unsupported claims, broken links, duplicate metadata, and buyer-task relevance.

Commercial separation

Advertising does not determine inclusion, conclusions, or ordering. PR97 currently does not use vendor affiliate tracking links in its guides.

Corrections

A correction should identify the URL, statement, current source, and requested change. Material corrections are reviewed against evidence.

Authorship and human review

Upgraded research pages identify an accountable author and link to a public author profile. A separate reviewer is named only after that person has checked the relevant evidence and accepted responsibility for the review. When no separate reviewer appears, PR97 does not imply independent expert review.

Author and reviewer labels must use real identities or approved professional names. PR97 does not create fictional experts, credentials, employers, awards, or experience claims. Material changes receive a new modification date, and correction requests follow the published corrections policy.
